Berlin-based product designer Fabien Dumas was born in 1976 in Fort de France, Martinique, and graduated from the University of Art in Berlin, Germany, with a Designer Diplom of Industrial Design in 2003. During his studies in Germany, he worked as a freelance designer on various projects in renowned department stores such as KaDeWe or Galeries Lafayette. Since 2004, its products have been part of the collection of Ingo Maurer, Marset and DARK. He also worked as a freelance designer for Arne Quinze at Quinze & Milan in Belgium.
