floatation

Floatation is one of Ingo Maurer’s most classic lamp! Created by himself in 1980, it is composed by three tones of thin japanese paper. The individual domes hang from thin steel cables, that are turned to the ceiling. The red iron ring works as a visual contrast to the light paper and as a physical counterweight.
