Constantin Wortmann studied design in Munich. After graduating, he worked as an intern and freelance designer for Ingo Mauer. In 1998 he founded the company Büro für Form alongside with Benjamin Hopf. The company operates in the areas of interior, furniture, industrial and lighting design. Several Next luminaires were designed by Wortmann. What characterizes his designs are organic and fluid shapes, sometimes with a touch of humor.
